Default 40th Anniversary of First Man On The Moon.

Where were you when this event took place. I was at work listening to it live on the radio and looking outside at the moon.

I was working at the Telecom Compac terminal at Northcoat that week and week heard everything for touchdown to moon walk live via a dedicated NASA feed. Better than the one heard on the radio.

I remember walking out side during the moonwalk and the roads were deserted as people listened to it on the radio. Not live TV coverage in NZ at that time.

Remember the date on the Auckland Star. Moonday July 20 . 1969.

Forget the moon now and try for Mars..

14 months old at the time. Still at an age when I could manipulate a woman using my needs...

I was a 10 yr old and living in the States.
I remember I was really peed off, cause it was on every TV station and I couldn't watch my cartoons!
